Not so soon: Bells Line of Road’s reopening pushed back | Western Advocate

IT was meant to have reopened, but Bells Line of Road will be closed for a little while yet. The road – one of two routes between Bathurst and Sydney over the Blue Mountains – has been shut off between Bell and Berambing since March 21 after landslides affected the integrity of the road and slope near Mount Tomah. It was announced on Wednesday evening that Bells Line would partly reopen in the next 48 hours, but it remained closed on Friday night.
