NSW Police are investigating two sheep carcasses that were discovered on the Golden Highway at Dubbo last week, the animals are believed to have been butchered. Two carcasses were located near the intersection of the Old Mendooran Road on February 19. Police believe the animals were butchered elsewhere and the remains dumped on the side of the road sometime on February 18 or 19.
