Premier League Hockey: Former Saint Richard Sharp returns to coach the blue and whites | Western Advocate

ALMOST three decades have come and gone since Richard Sharp won a top grade premiership as captain-coach of St Pat’s, but now he’s back and seeking more success with the Saints. He will do it as coach of the men’s Premier League Hockey side. Plenty has changed since Sharp was last involved with the Saints. Back then the club’s top side played in the Bathurst first grade competition against Kelso, Souths and Waratahs. Now the blue and whites are part of the regional competition. While the men’s side of the draw did not go ahead in 2020 due to COVID-19, this year it has returned and the Saints will battle with Lithgow Panthers, Parkes and Orange Wanderers for glory.
