When Orange and Bathurst cricket reunited after a 13-year hiatus for the 2019-2020 BOIDC season, operations manager Brad Broes knew it’d be somewhat of a trial and error operation. Fast forward six months and Broes is looking back on what he felt to be a successful summer of cricket, albeit with a disappointing ending. “It’s really good to see that we’ve got it back up and running again after quite a bit of time apart,” Broes said. “It was always going to be a bit shaky trying to get it back on its feet again, but overall most people came away with good things to say about the competition. “It’s a shame it had to end the way it did with the virus but Orange City and Cavs were standouts and miles ahead…
