United will kick off its 2021 campaign against Bathurst Souths | Western Advocate

Premier League Hockey’s new-look side will launch into the 2021 winter with a tricky home game on Saturday. Formerly Confederates, the United hockey club will not only make their debut in round one, but will look to make a first-up statement against the visit Souths. It might be a different jersey and team name, but the majority of the girls who played under Nic Milne in 2020 will return to the fold, with the likes of Eva Reith-Snare and Heidi Townsend to be in action throughout the campaign. Feds finished one win shy of a grand-final berth last year as they were a model of consistency throughout the regular season. And while the coach was pleased with that outcome, he can’t help but want to go one or two games…
